Accessing the Network from a remote location. (Updated for NetExtender version 10.2.337)

All users who only have a laptop as their only work PC should connect using the following steps ONLY when working remotely.
The following steps are to be taken BEFORE logging in to the laptop.
The first time you log in from any remote location you will need to connect to a wireless network. 
  1. Select the Network icon in the lower right corner 
  2. Choose the Wi-Fi network you want, then select Connect.
  3. Type the network password, and then select Next.
This section provides information on connecting to the VPN tunnel using Network Logon before log on to Windows accounts.

To launch a VPN connection using Network Logon:

Select the 'Network sign-inicon  (2 computers) from the lower right corner.

You will see a message that says "VPN is not connected".  Click the arrow to continue.

The NetExtender connection screen will pop-up.  Make sure the following details are entered:
Server-  NSS.NORWOODMA.GOV:4433
Username- Your network username, usually first initial/last name.
Password-  Your network password, what you type to log onto your computer.
Domain-  TWN
From the drop down at the bottom of the window, you can select "Save user name & password if server allows". 
Once this information is entered, click 'Connect'. 

        

      

      Once it is successfully connected, the NetExtender window will close and you will be back to the Windows Lock Screen.

Click anywhere then click "OK" on the Terms of Use page.
This is the biggest change with the new version.  on this screen click "Back" then enter your network password as your normally would in office and hit 'Enter'.

You will see the "Welcome" screen for a minute then your desktop will load along with all of your network drives (G:, H:, S:...).
